Every Object Tells A Story
"Every object tells a story is an interactive venture from Culture Online, the V&A, Channel 4, Ultralab and three regional museums. It aims to inspire a cross-section of society to become part of a living, evolving, online collection of stories and memories.
A national storytelling extravaganza, the project will provide an intimate social - and even emotional - snapshot of Britain today. The site allows users to upload images, video, audio and explanations of their favourite object. Visitors will be invited to browse and comment on the online collection: illustrating how a single object can mean a rich variety of different things to different people."
